We're going to do like our friend Dave Disser (http://www.weresotired.com/) and start taking pictures of Dina in the same chair on every "birthday". Here she is at one week. Posted by Picasa

Today was the best day of my life! I made a big poo poo and mom-mom talked to me for a whole hour! Posted by Picasa

Sleepytime! Posted by Picasa

Mom started doing playtime by the window and Dina seemed to like it there a lot. It's brighter, and the stereo speaker is right near by so she can hear the music better when it's playing softly.  Posted by Picasa

My parents are here in Singapore now and we're having a nice time. We have been enjoying just sitting around in the living room, having some tea and playing with Dina or talking about things. Yesterday we made big plans on how we're going to follow a new regimen of feed-wake-sleep rather than sleeping right after feeding. So far it has been working pretty well.

Dina got a really nice birthday present from Aunt Betsy. It had fun balloons and a big ginormous inflatable playpen. It looks like it will be a lot of fun in a couple months.

Dina really responds to classical music and Norah Jones. She'll just stop doing everything and listen when the song changes to a string piece or a Norah Jones song.

Bill's nose is so big that he sometimes uses it to roll Dina over when she gets onto her side

Dina's a pretty happy baby. I like her polkadot shirt. She still doesn't have very many clothes that are small enough for her.

Hmm, I wonder what I'll do next. Poo? Sleep? Cry? Hmmm.

Playtime is a key part of getting a good night's rest. We make a mission to tire her out every evening so that we can get better sleep in the night time. I'm not sure who gets more tired out though. So far she's probably winning by a few points.

We tried to use this as the passport photo but they said that both eyes must be open.

Is this (a) a pastry chef putting the final touches on a perfect wedding cake, (b) a technician assembling delicate parts in a semi-cleanroom environment, or (c) our doctor delivering a baby. If you guessed C you're right. Posted by Picasa
